Our studies which were started in 1990s as local symposium of “Sterilization and Disinfection” have turned into a national congress in 2000s and drawn a great attention. This great interest has also brought about the establishment of “Disinfection, Antisepsis and Sterilization (DAS) Association” in Turkey in 2004.
